Our lead trainer has presented workshops at national conventions on working with refugees her at national conferences. With years of experience conducting research and work with refugees, our training provides help for agencies and individuals working with refugees. Currently this training is geared towards working with Iraqi and Middle Eastern refugees, particularly displaced professionals.
The e-learning training is provided in a Flash video format. You can access the training at anytime for a 3-day period after you pay for the training. To ensure that you can adequately view the presentations it is crucial that you ensure you have the latest up-to-date version of Adobe's Flash player installed for your browser.

The training units will take 15 - 20 minutes to view, but contains reading materials and exercises that may take you at least an additional 45 minutes to an hour to complete. All the materials you need are available in the training unit in pull-down menus. At the end of the training there is a required quiz and if you pass, you will receive a certificate of completion. At this time we cannot yet offer continuing education credits or college credit, however your Goldfinch Training certificate indicates you have succeeded in taking a high quality training.
